The vineyards are situated on Rioja Valley’s northern hills on south-facing slopes, at an altitude of 550 metres above sea level. The vines, which have an average age of 25 years, are planted in uneven terrain due to several streams that run down the mountains that mark the northern border of Rioja. The soils are generally poor in nutrients and very shallow, just 30 to 35 centimetres in depth, which encourage the vines to send their roots deeper in search of nutrients and water.
All of our products include free delivery to your door. We dispatch on Wednesdays every week for delivery on Friday, so if you order before 5pm on a Wednesday, your wine will be delivered that Friday. Occasionally it might be delivered on the Thursday if our courier is being extra efficient!
As soon as we dispatch your wine you'll receive an email from us with the tracking number. That email will also let you know which wines we're sending and include a handwritten note from our wine expert explaining why we've chosen those wines.
We normally deliver using Parcelforce, Hermes or Packfleet, who'll email/text you on the morning of delivery with an accurate time for delivery. You'll need to be in to sign for the delivery, unless you tell us it's OK to leave it with a neighbour or somewhere safe when you sign up.
If you ever have any issues with delivery, we're always here to help. Just drop us a message and we'll get back to you ASAP, normally within the hour.
