Giuseppe Losapio founded Azienda Uggiano in the early 1970s and now owns over 100 hectares of vineyards stretching over the hillsides joining Montespertoli with Montelupo Fiorentino and San Casciano Val di Pesa. In 2015, the Losapio family sold the company to Uggiano’s young but experienced management team, including commercial manager Giacomo Fossati and Daniele Prosperi who have made the wine for the past 12 years.
