False Bay wines was founded by Paul Boutinot in 1994 with the aim of making "real wine affordable". Named after the gigantic bay on the Western Cape of South Africa, this Chardonnay comes almost exclusively from one vineyard in the Stellenbosch region. Being situated right by the cooler coast means the grapes stay relatively acidic, meaning the fermentation process can be totally natural with only wild yeast added
