The vineyards are near the Languedoc village of Saint Georges d’Orques, just 50 metres above sea level. The vines are up to 70 years old and grow on two main types of soil; a rich, silty soil and a stony soil made up of smooth, red, rounded stones. This combination makes for an aromatic blend that goes perfectly with roasts or tomato ragu.
