A modern, unoaked, vibrant and juicy style of Rioja, this is coming from the eastern part of rioja, Rioja Baja. This is made from tempranillo grapes grown on the hillside vineyards of this area. This modern style differentiates itself from the harder to drink classic styles, which had much higher tannins and higher acidity and needed drinking with food.
