Wine Bottles

All of our wine bottles are made of glass (obviously), which is recyclable in your recycling collection. Some of the wine bottles we ship are also made out of recycled glass, but this isn't always the case. We're working with our producers and suppliers towards ensuring every wine bottle we sell is also made out of recycled glass.

Corks and Caps

The corks from your wine bottles can be composted in your home composting. Screw caps from bottles can be recycled in your home recycling collection. Please screw the caps back on before recycling your bottles.

Shipping Boxes

The outer boxes are made from 70% recycled cardboard and are fully recyclable in your home recycling collection. Inside the box, we protect the bottles with cardboard "pulp" packaging — these are made from 100% recycled card waste and are fully recyclable. But the best bit is the internal pulp packaging is also biodegradable and compostable in your home composting! It'll take about 6 months to biodegrade in a normal home compost heap.

Packaging Tape

The tape we use to seal and secure your boxes is 100% recycled, 100% recyclable and 100% bio-degradable. It's our favourite part of the packaging!

Delivery

We carbon offset all of the carbon in shipping from our warehouse to your door, funding the Jarí Para REDD+ Avoided Unplanned Deforestation project with Pachama. To find out more about our carbon offsets, read our blog post.

Warehouse

Our warehouse runs on 100% renewable energy, provided by Opus Energy. We recycle every single piece of waste, so there is zero waste to landfill from our warehouse or offices.
